He is recognized for his four-decade career, notably as former Chairman of the Singer Group (1985-2015), and for significant contributions to public service and Sri Lanka Cricket. • Hall of Fame 2025 inductions recognized four distinguished professionals for shaping the accounting profession and business world. • Global & Public Service Impact: • Mr. M. V. Muhsin: Highest-ranking Sri Lankan to serve at the World Bank Group (former VP & CIO), recognized for pioneering digital transformation efforts (e-Lanka). • Mr. Don Kumaray Uttumdunna Corea: Founding Senior Partner of PwC Botswana and former President of the Botswana Institute of Accountants, noted for mentoring over 350 Sri Lankan accountants abroad. • National & Corporate Leadership: • Ms. Yoshita Shirani de Silva: Former Managing Partner of Kreston Sri Lanka, also recognized for her impactful social service through Soroptimist International. • Mr. Mohan Asoka Abeynaike: Former CA Sri Lanka President, instrumental in establishing the Faculty of Taxation, and held senior roles in Sampath Bank, Pan Asia Bank, and regulatory bodies (SEC).
